stay just a little, my love.
this spring break is filled with A LOT of family time. it’s almost unbearable, but you gotta embrace it, right? i picked up my future sister-in-law from chops’ house, so that we could pick up my brother from the airport. once i get to the house, their grandmother opens the door and greets me. i say hello and ask her how she’s doing ALL IN VIETNAMESE. chyeah, impressive, right? haha. i’m also greeted by a few other relatives. i met the in-laws. i said hello to chops. he jokingly told me that he wanted mary ann to be back by 8.
we pick up my brother, head back home for dinner, chill for a bit, then head off to drop off mary ann back at her relatives’ house. they were in the middle of dinner. we were only stopping by for a few minutes, but chops kept looking at me. looking as if he wanted me to stay.
